Who Are We

The school CALGJ was established in 1951 by the famous master Tito Devoto , black belt 7th dan. Master Devoto was one of the students who learnt the art of Ju jitsu directly from the headmaster of the italian school: Gino Bianchi, one of the first masters of martial arts in Italy.

Master Tito Devoto was well knows for his performances in a number of different martial arts and for his martial arts teaching system incentered on the physical fitness and the development of the athlete, on top of a strict eaching of the technique. After the death of the master, some of his athletes kept alive his school respecting his teaching system.

The school is regularly enrolled in the FIJLKAM sport federation, for the section Liguria, and all his instructors have degrees recognised by the FIJLKAM and CONI.
